1) One feature that makes Myspace better than Bebo is that I can say yay or nay to comments left on my page. Got spammed in Bebo on a comment and I don't see an option to deny them.
2) In other wierd news, a photo I took over a year ago has been shortlisted for appearing in an Edinburgh magazine. Apparently they flicked through Flickr and liked it so much, they're considering adding it to their magazine (Schmap). Considering it's just a rack of waistcoats, I don't see how they liked it, but still publication in one way or another is good.

It's comfirmed! I'm no longer dole-scum! Now I only need to know what I'm actually doing in this new job...

1)  Didn't get job I interviewed for last week, but at least I know it's either my interview techinique or the techniques of other's going for the role, since the little psychometric tests I had to do either gave me a) average, or b) above average.  So maybe I'll just have to hunt down and kill anyone else doing the interview.  Moo hoo ha ha...  Think I'll grow back my beard.
2)  Just applied for 20 jobs, and Summer helpfully helped me fix up my CV and make it look more pretty.  More to go soon after.
3)  http://comicbookscripts.googlepages.com/ has scripts for comics by many different writers.  Some good stuff there, great to see comparisons between different writers.  Some Ennis and Carey stuff there.
4)  Crashing with Mike and Marie just now, which is very cool, if only cause Mike likes cooking and is very good at it, and I get to play with Captain loads.  But waking up to the cats staring at me is just a little disturbing.
5)  Off for a walk.  Might pop by shop and see how these new PC's are doing, and hopefully they will be Steve-proof.  And more CV's going out later.  Funfunfun.

The main blerb is below in the quotes, but this one was for something along the lines of viagra.

"No! I loved her. I wanted to protect her.awaiting you. If you do not choose to occupy it, that is no fault of mine. Why should I bear theblood orange and a plate of gulls eggs diced with bits of ham and fiery peppers. Then nought would end its just a wood. Taking the piss oddly enough, but Seth Green looks so Emo here. It's like Spunky with eye-liner.

Looking for a werewolf Fighting Fantasy book oddly enough, but while looking I noticed that George Galloway's got a biography out. I'm not sure what to make of the guy. He's two-faced at times, but theres other moments when he gives the impression that he actually gives a toss about what he's campaigning for. I don't remember Thatcherism, but I know that Blair was a twat, the Iraqi war, was wrong, and Prescott should never have been in a position where he could afford to buy and run 3 jags, not to mention pies and escorts that he had. And yes, I know that all MP's are money-grabbing bastards, but it doesn't help that there's such a sense of apathy in the country that puts them into power in the first place (and personally I'd love it if someone in a Guy-Fawkes mask running around sounding like Hugo Weaving butchering chavs, drink-drivers, murderers who get 2 years for 'good behavoiur' and an X-Box 360 cause if they don't it's infringing on their human rights etc). So in a nation of polititions that would screw their own grandmothers for a rise in the polls, Galloway doesn't seem that bad.

But I was just waiting for some it-girl or someone who says 'Issit?' to go "Oh, he'd never have won Big Brother. He'd just go on about politics, I never fancied his chances."
"Oh really?" I'd say. "He was stuck in an enclosed space with Michael Barrymore and a swimming pool. I wouldn't have fancied my chances either."

What should I be reading next then? Will probably finish off Twilight Watch and the next Felix Castor novel at the weekend (I'm running a stall at Drac-Con this weekend so plan to use the time to catch up with reading since I'm sure the day's gonna be dead) and will be needing recomendations. I'm getting in the mood for something cyberpunk. Only cyberpunk stuff I've read that's not comics is Neuromancer, and I couldn't really get into it. Not sure if it's Gibson's style or what, it's just not something I particulary liked. Anyone?
